The "MARKET BAG PLAID" print is an homage to Chinatown in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Having the chance to live and work in the neighborhood that encapsulates so much rich history, everyday felt important and inspiring.

Nearby ILGI's first studio is Division Street Triangle, a small cozy asphalt triangle nook at the intersection of Division, Ludlow & Canal Streets, where you can find various walks of life coming together. Knowing that you can drop off your laundry, grab a coffee or dollar beer, and run into your friends along the way, this particular area remains special and feels like home base.

 

This intersection of the Chinatown and Lower East Side communities is what makes this area so special. Collaging five iconic "laundry bags," this design captures the vibrant colors and the essence of juxtaposition that exists in this part of town.
